Dr John Ormiston

John Ormiston (MBChB (Otago), FRACP, FRACR), trained in cardiology at Greenlane Hospital and at UCLA Hospital Los Angeles. He is New Zealand’s most experienced interventional cardiologist. Besides working at Mercy Angiography, where he is the medical director, he also works at Auckland City Hospital. He is the president of the Asia-Pacific Society of Interventional Cardiology. He has extensive experience with clinical trials and has particular interest and experience with drug-eluting stents.
