Malcolm Legget trained in cardiology at Green Lane Hospital and at the University of Washington, Seattle. From 1995-2000 he was Director of Echocardiography at Green Lane Hospital, and is now a consultant cardiologist at the Auckland Heart Group and Auckland City Hospital. He is also an Honorary Senior Lecturer in Medicine at the University of Auckland. Malcolm has been instrumental in the introduction of CT coronary angiography into clinical practice in New Zealand.
His special areas of interest are in the treatment and prevention of ischaemic heart disease, and in the management of valvular heart disease.
Malcolm is dedicated to the provision of high quality comprehensive cardiac care and has spent the last eleven years developing this passion through the Auckland Heart Group.
