Ralph Stewart (MBChB (Otago), FRACP, MD) trained in cardiology at the Royal Postgraduate Medical School in London UK. He worked as a Cardiologist in Dunedin for 10 years before moving to Auckland in 1999. He is a clinical cardiologist at Green Lane Hospital and part-time at the Auckland Heart Group. In addition he works with the Cardiovascular Research Unit and is principal investigator for studies assessing novel treatments and the application of new biomarkers to cardiovascular disease.
